1/24/23 - Altitude Labs Demo Day. Demo Day is Altitude Lab's showcase event for Utah startup founders, executives, and aspiring entrepreneurs, university leadership, industry innovators and healthcare professionals. where our startups present to the community and burgeoning entrepreneurs their successes and technology. 1/23/23 - 1/28/23 - Utah Tech Week. Utah Tech Week is a week-long grassroots community celebration of Utah’s tech and startup scene. Startups, VCs, and community orgs will put together dozens of events serving all stages and sectors of Utah’s tech community. The only events that Utah Tech Week will be organizing is an opening and closing party on November 8th and November 12th. In between, will be dozens of community driven events ranging from breakfasts, lunches, happy hours, dinners, educational panels and workshops on all different verticals and skill sets within tech and startups, yoga sessions, Top Golf, mountain biking, hiking, and whatever creative activity you can think of!

 

1/12/23 - Utah Economic Outlook & Public Policy Summit - 8:30am-1:30pm. Bestselling author and University of Utah Impact Scholar, Dr. Arthur C. Brooks, will keynote the 2023 Utah Economic Outlook & Public Policy Summit. The Summit presents an opportunity for attendees to gain insights on the future of Utah's economy and the business community's policy priorities for the upcoming legislative session. 12/15/22 - Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party - 5pm-7:30pm. Benefiting the Food Justice Coalition, the event will feature spirits, appetizers, and networking. Raise funds to feed the homeless in Utah. Location: Hardware Apartments 455 W 200 N, Salt Lake City. Register for the event here.

12/1/22 - Tacos Together Toy Drive and Ugly Sweater Contest - 11am-2pm. Tacos Together is putting on a toy drive throughout the month of November. You can drop off toys at any Dirty Dough or JobNimbus location you can also donate here. On December 1, the toy drive will end with a party at Automotive Addiction. 11/30/22 - Seed for Startups: ZinnStarter Final Pitch - 4pm-7pm. Hand-selected UVU student businesses will present a 5-minute pitch with a funding request of up to $2,500, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A from a judging panel made up of UVU Wolverine Fund students. 11/29/22 - Utahns Invited to Attend Prison Demolition - 10am. A public viewing is scheduled for the start of demolition for the old state prison facilities. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Women's Business Center of Utah and recognizes the accomplishments of those helping make a difference here in our local community. 11/11/22 - Give Blockchain and Free a Girl Fundraiser and Crypto Event - 5pm - 10pm. This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization, Free a Girl, that focuses on the rescue, aftercare, and therapy for girls saved from human trafficking. The event is hosted by Give Blockchain, a startup dedicated to helping nonprofits fundraise on their platform using the power of blockchain. 10/21/22 - Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, University of Utah - Registration is open for the 2022-23 Utah Entrepreneur Challenge. All Utah college students from participating colleges and universities are welcome to participate in this statewide business-model competition. Teams are competing for $60,000 this year. The registration deadline is Jan. 17, 2023. Online information sessions will take place on Nov. 15, 2022, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; Nov. 29, 2022, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; Dec. 6, 2022, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; and Jan. 10, 2023, 4:30-5:30 p.m. The top 20 teams will be announced on Feb. 1, 2023 and will advance to compete in the remaining phases of the competition, which include creating a two-minute video, public voting, judging, and a final event on Feb. 25, 2023.
